About the Role

We are looking for Sales & Payment Consultants to join our Store Operations team in Salalah, Oman. Reporting to the Deputy Team Leader and Team Leader, this role is essential to delivering ATU’s signature customer experience. Ideal candidates are friendly, reliable, and take pride in providing excellent service with a positive, customer-first attitude.

As part of this role, Sales & Cashier Assistants will be working across a diverse range of product categories including perfumes and cosmetics, fashion accessories, chocolates and confectionaries, toys, local souvenirs, as well as tobacco and liquor. We encourage applicants to ensure they are comfortable engaging with all product types, as this is essential to delivering consistent service and maintaining our high retail standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high levels of customer satisfaction through ATU Style service
  • Represent the company with a professional, presentable, and customer-focused attitude
  • Welcome and assist customers, assess their needs, and provide product information
  • Stay informed about product offerings, promotions, and available options
  • Achieve department sales goals (monthly, quarterly, yearly)
  • Go the extra mile to drive sales and enhance the customer experience
  • Maintain a clean, organized store aligned with brand standards
  • Handle customer concerns and complaints professionally
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent service quality
  • Build trust-based relationships to encourage repeat business
  • Process sales transactions using the POS system accurately
  • Comply with inventory control procedures and support stock monitoring
  • Suggest improvements to boost sales, including marketing and merchandising ideas
  • Inform customers of ongoing promotions and special deals
  • Attend training sessions to stay updated on products and sales techniques
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned based on operational needs

Requirements

  • Previous experience in retail, sales, or cashiering preferred
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
  • Basic proficiency in English (additional languages are a plus)
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Reside in Oman
