Service Advisor – Pfaff Subaru, Guelph, ON N1K 0A4
We are seeking a customer‑service driven individual to work as a Service Advisor. The role involves providing top‑notch customer service, developing an understanding of the repair process, and handling all customer inquiries or complaints.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist all customers (in‑person and over the phone) with service requirements, ensuring optimum customer service.
- Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and accurate manner according to the policy of the dealership.
- Schedule service appointments.
- Obtain customer and vehicle data prior to arrival when possible.
- Create/Open work orders for new customers and service; close orders as appropriate.
- Invoice work orders and accept payments from customers; submit reports and receipts to accounting.
- Provide quotes or estimates to customers regarding required service.
- Advise customers of current status of their vehicle and any additional work that may be required.
- Perform other duties as required by the Service Manager to ensure the successful operation of the dealership.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in the automotive field.
- 1‑2 years of experience as a Service Advisor (asset).
- CDK experience.
- Aptitude for numbers.
- Valid driver’s licence and a clean driver’s abstract.
