We are looking for a happy & upbeat, motivated and hands-on individual to join our talented Team. The ideal candidate must have a passion for sewing – either in garment sewing, quilting, or home dec. We need someone who can demonstrate proven experience in quickly gaining a strong product knowledge base and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Mr. Sewing Machine is based in Dallas, Texas. We sell the full line of Baby Lock sewing machines, sergers, and embroidery machines. We take immense pride in serving all Customers with the highest level of customer service.
Duties will include:
- Maintain a strong dedication to the highest quality of customer service.
- Maintain a meticulously clean and functional showroom.
- Maintain positive Customer relations. Solve Customer complaints and answer questions related to the Art of Sewing. If you do not know the answer, be willing to research a solution.
- Complete all Baby Lock Technical Training and Certifications. Gain thorough knowledge of all educational resources available to the Customer related to Baby Lock products.
- Learn and demonstrate knowledge of how to effectively teach new users the operational basics of sewing machines, embroidery machines, sergers, and software platforms across the complete Baby Lock product line.
- Perform basic sewing, serger, and embroidery machine troubleshooting and diagnostics.

Additional Job Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and carry sewing machines up to 30 lbs.
- Must be able to work weekends and occasional off site sewing events.
Pay: $11.00 – $12.00 per hour
