We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Showroom Sales Executive to join our team and help deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Position Summary
The Showroom Sales Executive will be responsible for managing daily showroom activities, welcoming visitors, understanding customer needs, and providing professional product recommendations. The role involves assisting a diverse customer base including homeowners, interior designers, architects, contractors, carpenters, and furniture manufacturers.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has a passion for design and interiors, and is eager to contribute to a modern and dynamic showroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Sales
- Welcome and assist showroom visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products and solutions.
- Guide customers through product selections, finishes, colours, and applications.
- Build strong relationships with interior designers, architects, carpenters, contractors, and retail customers.
- Prepare quotations and follow up on customer enquiries to support sales conversion.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
Showroom Management
- Ensure the showroom is organized, attractive, and professionally presented at all times.
- Maintain product displays, samples, catalogues, and promotional materials.
- Keep up to date with product knowledge and new product introductions.
- Support showroom events, product launches, and customer presentations.
Business Development
- Identify opportunities to generate new business and strengthen customer relationships.
- Assist in promoting the showroom as a destination for design inspiration and product solutions.
- Gather customer feedback and market insights to support continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales, showroom sales, customer service, or a related field is preferred.
- Background and interest in design, architecture, interiors and building materials.
- Experience or knowledge of wood products, furniture manufacturing, interior finishes, decorative surfaces, or the woodworking industry is an advantage, but not essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-oriented mindset with a professional appearance and attitude.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
