Supply Chain Supervisor
We are looking for a Supply Chain Supervisor to join our team and lead key supply chain activities across purchasing, inventory management, logistics, and warehouse operations. This role is ideal for a proactive professional with solid experience in RMU / electrical equipment manufacturing and a strong ability to manage processes, vendors, and teams effectively.
Role Purpose
The Supply Chain Supervisor will be responsible for implementing supply chain systems and processes to ensure on-time availability of materials and services, optimize inventory levels, reduce costs, improve working capital, and support overall customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan purchasing activities to ensure materials and services arrive on time in line with inventory targets and customer delivery requirements
- Coordinate closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to reduce logistics lead times
- Monitor and optimize inventory levels to support service levels and working capital targets
- Maintain item ordering parameters in SAP or relevant systems for proper replenishment and stock control
- Lead vendor selection, validation, negotiation, and performance evaluation
- Supervise inbound and outbound logistics activities to optimize cost and cycle time
- Oversee warehouse operations, including storage planning, receiving, picking, stock accuracy, and periodic inventory counts
- Support department planning, KPI monitoring, budgeting, reporting, and team development
- Ensure compliance with HSE procedures and company safety standards at all times
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in supply chain within RMU / electrical equipment manufacturing
- Strong experience in purchasing, inventory management, logistics, and warehouse operations
- Knowledge of SAP or ERP systems
- Familiarity with JIT methodology
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills
- Good understanding of vendor management, demand and supply planning, and logistics operations
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills
