Summary of The Job:
Claim Associate is to handle technical analysis, manage repair cost approvals, and track repair progress until the unit is successfully received by the customer in line with the SLA/Target that is set. The role requires the ability to manage technical analysis, coordinate cost approvals both internally and with insurance partners, and monitor repair progress until the unit is successfully returned to the customer
Responsibilities:
- Receive repair cost estimates and technical assessments from the service center.
- Review the reasonableness of parts replacement, repair costs, and estimated repair turnaround time.
- Negotiate parts replacement and repair costs with the service center when necessary.
- Provide approval, partial approval, or rejection decisions with clear justification.
- Monitor spare part availability and ensure repairs are completed in accordance with SLA requirements.
- Provide regular repair progress updates to internal and/or external customers.
- Ensure average repair costs are maintained within established targets.
- Ensure average repair turnaround time is achieved in line with performance targets.
- Identify and escalate potential fraud, overclaims, or irregularities in repair submissions.
Requirements:
- Education & background Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Insurance, Business, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are welcome; prior experience in claims handling, service center operations, or repair coordination is an advantage.
- Technical Skill Requirements Basic understanding of service center repair and handling processes.
- Have a skill on repair process & management (related electronic)
- Able to read and understand repair cost estimates, including spare parts and labor components.
- Basic ability to analyze the reasonableness of repair costs based on damage assessment and claim chronology.
- Basic awareness of potential fraud, overclaims, or inconsistencies in repair submissions.
- Able to coordinate with service center vendors under supervision.
- Have a skill on repair process & management
- Ability to use standard office applications such as Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
