Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Technical Customer Service role based in Cairo for fluent English speakers. The role involves handling inbound and outbound customer inquiries, diagnosing technical issues, and providing clear, step-by-step support to resolve problems efficiently. Responsibilities include troubleshooting common technical and connectivity issues, documenting interactions in the system, and escalating complex cases to higher-level support when needed. The Technical Customer Service team member will collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to ensure timely resolution of cases, follow up with customers, and contribute to continuous improvement of service processes. The role may also involve guiding customers through basic product usage, offering tailored technical advice, and participating in periodic training sessions to stay current on products, services, and support procedures.
Qualifications
- Strong customer-facing abilities, including Customer Service skills and a customer-centric mindset.
- Technical aptitude with skills in Technical Support and Troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
- Basic understanding of Electricity or related technical concepts is an advantage for handling product-specific inquiries.
- Ability to participate in and benefit from Training, and to support knowledge sharing within the team.
- Fluent spoken and written English; additional languages are a plus.
- Effective communication, active listening, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced contact center environment and handling high call or ticket volumes.
- Previous experience in a technical support, helpdesk, or call center role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Willingness to work on-site in Cairo on rotating shifts as required by business needs.
