Position: Full Time Tenancy Support Agent
Join Human Services at Peel Housing Corporation as a Tenancy Support Agent in Mississauga. This hybrid role focuses on tenant relations and support across multiple housing sites.
In this full-time position, you will be the primary contact for tenants, handling inquiries and assisting from the application stage to the end of tenancy.
Your role will involve building strong relationships with tenants and engaging them to participate in their communities. Collaboration with internal staff and external agencies will be crucial for resolving tenancy matters effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the main contact for tenancy inquiries
• Build relationships with tenants for issue resolution
• Collaborate with agencies to support tenants
• Coordinate tenant meetings and document communications
• Attend tribunal hearings representing Housing Operations
Requirements:
• Post-secondary diploma in human services
• Minimum three years of customer service experience
• Knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Valid driver’s license for site travel
