Role Description This full-time Travel Agent (Irish – UK) role is an on-site position based in Giza. The Travel Agent will handle end-to-end travel arrangements for customers from the Irish and UK markets, including flights, hotels, car rentals, and related services, ensuring a seamless booking experience. Daily responsibilities include managing reservations, responding to customer inquiries, providing accurate travel information, and offering suitable options based on customer needs and budget. The role involves processing changes and cancellations, resolving issues efficiently, and delivering high-quality customer service in line with Alorica’s CX standards. The Travel Agent will also identify opportunities to promote additional services and offers, contributing to sales targets while maintaining a professional and inclusive approach.
Qualifications

  • Strong customer service skills, including active listening, empathy, and clear communication.
  • Experience with reservations and travel arrangements (flights, hotels, packages), preferably for Irish and UK markets.
  • Knowledge of car rental services and the ability to recommend suitable options to customers.
  • Sales skills, including upselling and cross-selling travel-related products in a customer-centric manner.
  • Proficiency in English; additional language skills relevant to Irish and UK customers are a plus.
  • Familiarity with travel booking systems, GDS tools, or online reservation platforms.
  • Ability to work on-site in Giza, manage time effectively, and perform under performance-based metrics.
  • Previous experience in travel, hospitality, or contact center environments is beneficial.
