Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Banking Operations Specialist to support a commercial banking team through a variety of operational, administrative, and account maintenance activities. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the accuracy of banking transactions, account documentation, treasury management processes, and client account servicing requests. The ideal candidate will have prior banking experience, strong problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset. This is a non-client-facing position that works closely with internal banking teams to process requests, maintain account information, and resolve operational issues.
MORE DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Support assigned banking team with day-to-day operational and administrative functions.
-Participate in daily team meetings and weekly operational review meetings.
-Review and process daily deposits, overdrafts, unpaid items, and returned items.
-Prepare, review, and maintain treasury management documentation and paperwork.
-Process account maintenance requests, including: Address changes, signer updates, account relationship modifications, superseding and maintenance requests on demand, loan, and deposit accounts, etc.
-Assist with new account setup and onboarding documentation.
-Assemble and prepare account and transaction packages for internal processing.
-Ensure all activities are completed in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
-Manage requests received through a shared team inbox and research operational issues.
-Investigate and resolve banking-related inquiries such as: Missing loan payments, statement delivery issues, transaction-related questions, etc.
-Analyze account activity and transaction details to determine appropriate next steps.
-Collaborate closely with team members and participate actively in a highly interactive team environment.
-Work alongside experienced team members during onboarding and training to learn processes and procedures.
Compensation:
$19/hr to $21/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
