2. About the Opportunity:
The Customer Service Representative I is responsible for managing client and provider inquiries through various communication channels, ensuring compliance with contractual and state guidelines. This role supports operational effectiveness by facilitating clear, accurate interactions and maintaining necessary documentation, contributing to the overall service quality and organizational compliance.
3. Responsibilities:
• Respond to phone calls and return missed calls
• Handle emails from clients, providers, and internal offices
• Review provider history in relevant systems
• Consult with supervisors or departments to resolve inquiries
• Contact providers to discuss findings when appropriate
• Maintain reports and spreadsheets as required
• Perform additional duties as assigned
4. Requirements:
• Knowledge of Workers Compensation fee schedules and regulations
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
• Detail oriented
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications
• Understanding of medical terminology and coding
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Customer service experience in Managed Care and Benefit Administration industries
• Internet upload and download speeds of at least 80Mbps
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• Pay range: $13.94 – $21.48 per hour
