2. About the Opportunity:
The role of Customer Service Representative is focused on educating union members about the benefits available to them through their union affiliations. The position supports members by providing clear information and assisting with benefit options. Sales activities occur only when members choose to opt in for additional benefits. This role contributes directly to the organization’s ability to serve a growing client base without engaging in cold calling, ensuring a customer-focused and informative experience.
3. Responsibilities:
• Educate union members who request information about available benefits
• Assist members in understanding their benefits and options
• Handle inquiries related to union-affiliated benefits
• Support sales only when members express interest in additional benefits
• Maintain positive and professional communication with members
4. Requirements:
• Must reside in California
• Flexible hours availability
• Fluent in English; bilingual skills are a plus but not required
• Self-motivation and customer service orientation
• Integrity and willingness to learn
• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
