In partnership with our client, Sedgwick Ireland are seeking a Sales Executive based in Newcastle, Co. Dublin
This role is fully onsite.
Hours: 9am – 5pm

The Role
As the Sales & Quote Executive, reporting to the Head of Operations, you will manage the inbound sales leads responding to quote requests via web enquiry, email, Instagram and telephone and answer any sales queries that arise.
The key objective of this role is to sell private hire bus and transport services by maximising revenue, utilising the full fleet of vehicles available.
Key Responsibilities Include
Support the private hire business by providing accurate and timely quotes to all inbound enquiries, booking in confirmed jobs and collecting payment for booked jobs.
- Answering phone, web, Instagram and email enquiries for sales bookings, issuing quotes, taking in deposits, dealing with prospective customers and liaising with drivers to book their time.
- Track inbound leads that turn into sales to produce weekly and monthly sales reporting.
- Managing payments for private hire ensuring all jobs have paid deposits and balances in advance of booked jobs.
- Achieving and exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for private hire business
- Admin support for general sales and confirmed bookings and communicating with consumer and corporate clients.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date sales records and reports.
- Develop a strong appreciation and deep understanding of how to effectively support our sales and new business development process.
Skills/Experience Needed
- 2-3 years of previous sales experience essential.
- Telesales experience with evidence of exceeding quote to sale conversion rates highly desirable.
- Desire to learn and understand the industry in which we operate.
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Basic understanding of Google Analytics desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively present written and verbal information to users and prospects via phone and email.
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Experience in the bus industry desirable.
- An interest in the tourist, entertainment and transport industry a distinct advantage.
