2. About the Opportunity:
The Exceptions Processing Coordinator supports customer account and financial operations by processing refunds, researching account histories, assisting with reconciliations, and resolving chargebacks and returned checks. This role ensures accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions, contributing to the organization’s ability to maintain smooth customer account management and financial integrity.
3. Responsibilities:
• Process refunds for closed and open customer accounts
• Research customer financial history and update accounts as needed
• Generate production detail reports and perform end-of-day close out
• Assist with daily and monthly reconciliations of issued and outstanding checks
• Respond to chargeback disputes and returned checks, adjusting account balances accordingly
4. Requirements:
• High school diploma
• Minimum of two years experience in financial or customer service roles
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite, especially Excel
• Ability to work effectively from a home office
Preferred:
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• Pay ranges from $17.25 to $21.56 per hour, which may be below some state minimum wages; candidates should consider this when applying
• Compensation may vary based on location, experience, and performance
• Position may be eligible for bonus or incentive based on business need
