What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Respond to member/customer requests for emergency road service in a call center environment
- Gather information regarding service needs and communicate with contractors to provide timely assistance
- Promote and process membership sales opportunities during customer interactions
- Maintain accurate records and enter data into the system documenting all relevant details
- Deliver superior customer service with empathy and understanding while resolving member issues
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 6 months of customer service experience, preferably in a call center environment
- Proficient in navigating PC systems and accurately inputting information
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with members
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and understand geographical relationships
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- College-level coursework in Business, Marketing, Geography, or related field
- Experience in remote work and promoting products and services
- Familiarity with cross-selling and up-selling strategies in a customer service context
- Previous experience in a call center environment for a minimum of 6 months
