Key Responsibilities
- Revenue Growth & Commercial Leadership
- Own and deliver global revenue targets for the Travel vertical.
- Drive sales performance across all channels (B2B, B2B2C, digital, partnerships).
- Expand revenue streams beyond insurance into ancillary travel products and services.
- Build and execute sales strategy, pipeline plan, and partner acquisition roadmap.
- Ensure strong forecasting discipline, reporting, and performance tracking against KPIs, including partner profitability and margin targets
- Partnerships & Ecosystem Development
- Define and execute the global travel strategy, aligned with Group objectives.
- Identify and penetrate new markets, customer segments, and distribution channels.
- Build a scalable and sustainable business model across multiple geographies.
- Drive cross-border synergies across Malaysia and other relevant markets.
- Partner-Led Product Ideation & Commercial Packaging
- Drive new product and service ideation based on partner insights, customer needs, and market trends.
- Translate partner requirements into commercially viable propositions (bundling, pricing, and monetisation models).
- Work with internal Product, Underwriting, Operations, and Tech teams to ensure fast execution and partner readiness.
- Ensure partner propositions are scalable, competitive, and commercially sustainable
- Team Leadership & Execution Culture
- Lead and build a high-performing global Travel sales and partnerships team.
- Set clear KPIs on revenue growth, pipeline conversion, partner productivity, and profitability.
- Foster a culture of accountability, execution excellence, and commercial agility.
- Develop talent pipeline and succession plans within the vertical.
- Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements across jurisdictions.
- Work closely with Risk, Compliance, and Legal on partner onboarding, contract governance, and market entry.
- Maintain strong governance while enabling speed to market and commercial execution
JOB REQUIREMENT
- Minimum 12–15 years of experience in travel industry, digital platforms, or insurance (preferred)
- Commercial / sales leadership roles
- Proven track record in driving revenue growth at scale
- Experience in regional or global roles with multi-market exposure
- Strong network within travel ecosystem players (airlines, OTAs, platforms)
- Leadership and stakeholder management
- Strategic thinking with strong execution focus
- Data-driven and performance-oriented
- Proactive team player with the ability to function with minimal supervision and work under tight deadlines
