Summary

We are looking for a friendly and professional Hostess to support the opening of Hyatt Place AlUla.

Hyatt Place AlUla represents a significant milestone in Hyatt’s expansion across the region and will feature 215 guestrooms, two food and beverage outlets, meeting space, swimming pool and a fitness center appealing to both leisure and business travelers.

Your Role

As the Hostess, you’ll be responsible for creating a welcoming first impression for guests by managing restaurant seating arrangements, greeting guests warmly, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience from arrival to departure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner and escort them to their tables
  • Manage reservations, waiting lists, and table assignments to ensure efficient restaurant operations
  • Maintain an accurate overview of table availability and dining room occupancy
  • Coordinate with restaurant colleagues to optimize guest flow and seating arrangements
  • Respond to guest inquiries and provide information about restaurant offerings and services
  • Handle guest requests and special seating requirements whenever possible
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception and waiting areas
  • Assist in monitoring guest satisfaction and communicate feedback to the restaurant team
  • Ensure compliance with service standards, grooming requirements, and operational procedures
  • Support pre-opening restaurant preparations and operational readiness

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a hostess, guest service, restaurant, or hospitality role is preferred
  • Strong customer service orientation and passion for hospitality
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to remain calm and courteous during busy service periods
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to service excellence
  • Excellent English communication skills
