Job Summary:
We are looking for a Logistics Customer Service Representative to act as the key liaison between our company, customers, and carriers. The ideal candidate will handle order processing, shipment coordination, and customer inquiries, ensuring a smooth and efficient supply chain process. A strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and excellent communication skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding order status, shipments, and delivery issues
- Process orders and coordinate with the warehouse and transportation teams to ensure timely deliveries
- Track shipments and proactively communicate updates or delays to customers
- Resolve customer issues and complaints related to logistics, shipping, and inventory discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, orders, and shipping documentation
- Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to manage transportation and logistics needs
- Support inventory control and assist with cycle counts, returns, or order adjustments
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports related to logistics performance and customer service metrics
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
- Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or customer service is highly preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with ERP or TMS systems is a plus
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, depending on customer base
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.50 – $18.00 per hour
