What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Resolve inbound service calls regarding routine questions and inquiries related to loss drafts from borrowers, contractors, and insurance companies
- Accurately document call activity in the Loss Draft Tracking system
- Set up processing tasks such as property inspections and disbursement requests pertinent to the loss draft process
- Apply de-escalation skills for upset callers and refer unresolved calls to appropriate team members
- Perform other duties as required to support customer satisfaction
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- High School diploma or GED equivalency required
- Minimum of three (3) years of high-level data entry or related call center experience
- Basic understanding of insurance claims processing
- Strong verbal and written communication and customer relationship skills
- Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and applications, including Microsoft Office Suite
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience in mortgage insurance
- Familiarity with general office machines
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced phone queue environment
- Willingness to attend initial on-the-job training sessions
- Capacity to lift, carry, push, or pull 10 – 20 lbs. of files or documents
