About The Role
We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our client’s busy office located in East Liverpool, OH. This is a part-time role during the training period, with a transition to full-time hours once training is complete. The position offers a dynamic work environment where organizational skills and attention to detail are essential. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing essential administrative functions, including processing Bills of Lading, maintaining accurate documentation, and facilitating effective communication between drivers, customers, and internal teams. This role provides an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in logistics or transportation to contribute to a fast-paced operation while developing their professional skills.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess prior experience working with Bills of Lading (BOLs), demonstrating a solid understanding of shipping documentation and procedures. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, is required to perform daily tasks efficiently. Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail are critical for maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with documentation standards. The candidate must be able to multitask effectively, manage competing priorities, and work efficiently under pressure. Responsibilities
The Office Administrator will be responsible for a variety of duties including preparing, reviewing, and processing Bills of Lading to ensure accuracy and compliance. They will handle general office tasks such as data entry, filing, and managing various documents to support daily operations. Maintaining clear and consistent communication with drivers, customers, and internal teams regarding shipment statuses and documentation requirements is vital. The role also involves maintaining organized records, ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly and in a timely manner. Additionally, the Office Administrator will provide administrative support to the operations team, assisting with scheduling, correspondence, and other clerical duties as needed.
