2. About the Opportunity:
The Remote Patient Contact Center Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service to patients. This position ensures effective communication and support for patients, contributing to overall patient satisfaction and the smooth operation of the contact center.
3. Responsibilities:
• Handle high volumes of inbound patient calls professionally and positively
• Provide accurate information and respond to inquiries, including promotional details when applicable
• Forward customer requests to appropriate departments
• Maintain accurate and timely records in Patient Contact Center and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
• Document call information following standard procedures
• Protect patient privacy according to HIPAA regulations
• Acquire and maintain knowledge of procedures, protocols, and office guidelines
• Make outbound calls when requested
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
4. Requirements:
• Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills
• Prior experience in a call center or customer service environment
• Proficiency with computer applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Suite
• Knowledge of customer service principles, call center technology, and clerical processes
• Ability to remain calm and deliver excellent customer service in stressful situations
• Residence in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, or Massachusetts
• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in communications or related field preferred
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• $19 an hour
