Role Description The Rental Sales Agent is a full-time, on-site role based in Kuala Lumpur. This role is responsible for assisting customers with vehicle rental inquiries, explaining rental options, and processing reservations, extensions, and returns in a timely and accurate manner. The Rental Sales Agent will handle customer check-in and check-out procedures, prepare rental agreements, verify documentation, and ensure vehicles are allocated according to customer needs and company policies. The role involves promoting additional products and services, managing payments, and resolving customer issues professionally to maintain high satisfaction levels. The Rental Sales Agent will also work closely with the operations team to coordinate vehicle availability, maintain branch standards, and support daily administrative tasks.

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse customers.
  • Sales and negotiation abilities, including promoting add-on services and closing rental agreements effectively.
  • Basic administrative and computer skills, including handling documentation, data entry, and point-of-sale systems.
  • Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills to address customer concerns promptly and constructively.
  • Ability to work on-site in Kuala Lumpur, including weekends and shifts as required by branch operations.
  • Prior experience in car rental, hospitality, retail, or related service industries is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Malaysia and additional languages is beneficial.
  • Minimum secondary education; diploma or equivalent in business, hospitality, or related fields is preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record are strongly preferred.
