Job Summary:

The Training Associate – Retail is responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs for retail staff, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge required to provide excellent customer service, meet sales targets, and uphold company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Training & Development:

• Conduct training sessions for new and existing retail employees on customer service,

sales techniques, product knowledge, and company policies.

• Assist in designing training modules, presentations, and e-learning content tailored

to retail operations.

• Organize and facilitate onboarding programs for new hires to ensure a smooth

transition into the company.

Performance Support:

• Assess the training needs of retail teams through surveys, performance reports, and

direct feedback.

• Monitor employee performance and provide coaching or refresher training as

required.

• Work closely with store managers to identify skill gaps and recommend suitable

training interventions.

Training Evaluation & Improvement:

• Track training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and sales performance

analysis.

• Update training content regularly to align with industry trends and company

objectives.

• Prepare reports on training activities, participation, and impact on business

performance.

Collaboration & Communication:

• Coordinate with HR and operations teams to schedule training programs without

disrupting store operations.

• Act as a point of contact for retail staff regarding learning opportunities and career

development.

• Support internal and external audits related to training and compliance.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree

• 1-3 years of experience in training, coaching, or retail operations.

• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to engage and motivate retail employees at all levels.

• Familiarity with retail sales techniques, POS systems, and customer service best

practices.

• Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and learning management

systems (LMS) is a plus.
