We are looking for a dedicated and organized Sales Administrator to join a leading specialty chemicals company in Johannesburg.

Sales Administrator – Modderfontein, JHB – Salary: R14,000 to R16,000 CTC per month (inclusive of Provident Fund)
About The Role
We are looking for a dedicated and organized Sales Administrator to join a leading specialty chemicals company in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full sales order cycle, ensuring that every order is processed accurately and delivered on time while providing top-tier service to both internal teams and external clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Order Management: Receive, process, and distribute customer orders, including the management of delivery notes and manual order registers.
- Customer Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for walk-in and telephonic customers, handling queries and providing regular feedback on order status.
- Logistics Coordination: Identify back orders or stock shortages and communicate timelines effectively to clients and the sales force.
- Internal Support: Manage the Service Technician’s calendar and assist with warehouse stocktakes when required.
- Documentation: Process proforma invoices, urgent quotations, and manage agreements for "Free on Loan" (FOL) equipment.
Requirements
- Education: Grade 12 or equivalent (Maths is highly advantageous).
- Experience: * Minimum of 2 years in a sales support or sales administrative role.
- Minimum of 2 years of warehouse-related experience.
- Experience within the chemical industry is a significant advantage.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Syspro and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams).
- Language: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
