About the Role
Redz is looking for a Social Media Account Manager to manage incoming leads from businesses interested in advertising on the platform. This role is about keeping the lead pipeline organized, following up consistently, and helping turn interest into active advertisers. Basic knowledge of social media (how platforms work, common terms, what advertisers care about) is expected, but this is primarily an organized, detail-oriented coordination role, not a strategic or managerial one.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and respond to leads from people interested in advertising on Redz.
- Follow up with leads in a timely, professional manner.
- Keep a clear, up-to-date record of every lead (contact info, status, notes).
- Categorize leads as accepted, rejected, or pending, and flag important ones.
- Send simple, regular updates/reports to management on lead status and numbers.
- Support onboarding of new advertisers with basic guidance and coordination.
- Escalate bigger or more complex opportunities to management.
Requirements
- 0-2 years of experience; fresh graduates welcome.
- Basic understanding of social media platforms and common terminology.
- Comfortable using spreadsheets or simple tracking tools (Excel, Google Sheets, Airtable).
- Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable with follow-up.
- Good written and verbal communication in Arabic and English.
- Comfortable in a fast-moving startup environment.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in customer service, sales support, or admin/coordination roles.
- Familiarity with CRM tools.
Success Looks Like
- Leads are logged and updated consistently, with nothing falling through the cracks.
- Management always has a clear, current picture of the pipeline.
- Leads move through the process quickly and smoothly.
