Role Description The Tourism Specialist is a full-time, remote role responsible for designing and coordinating customized travel itineraries for individual and group clients. Day-to-day tasks include consulting with clients to understand their preferences, recommending destinations and experiences, and creating detailed travel plans within budget and time constraints. The role involves managing bookings for transportation, accommodation, and activities, while ensuring smooth trip logistics and timely follow-up. The Tourism Specialist will respond to inquiries, provide ongoing support before and during travel, and resolve any service issues that arise. This position also contributes to sales and marketing initiatives by promoting packages, maintaining client relationships, and supporting the development of new tourism offerings for Saudi Arabia and other destinations.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal interaction with clients and internal teams.
  • Candidates should possess Travel & Tourism expertise, with knowledge of destinations in Saudi Arabia and international travel planning.
  • Candidates should possess Customer Service skills, with a focus on responsiveness, problem-solving, and traveler satisfaction.
  • Candidates should possess Sales and Marketing skills to promote travel packages, convert inquiries into bookings, and support brand visibility.
  • Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field are beneficial.
  • Experience using travel booking tools, CRM systems, and standard office software is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple itineraries and deadlines in a remote work setting.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic or additional languages is an advantage.
