Role Description The Front Desk Receptionist is a full-time, on-site role based in Kathmandu. This position is responsible for greeting guests, managing check-ins and check-outs, and providing accurate information about services, facilities, and local attractions. The role involves handling phone calls, directing inquiries, managing reservations, and coordinating messages in a professional and timely manner. Daily tasks include maintaining the front desk area, completing basic clerical duties, updating records, processing payments, and supporting other team members to ensure smooth front-of-house operations. The Receptionist is expected to uphold Roadhouse’s service standards, resolve guest concerns courteously, and contribute to a welcoming and efficient environment.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Proficient phone etiquette and receptionist duties, including greeting visitors, managing calls, and handling inquiries.
- Basic clerical skills such as record-keeping, data entry, and handling documentation accurately.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment, with attention to detail and a professional demeanor.
- Prior experience in front desk, hospitality, or customer-facing roles is an advantage.
- Comfortable using computer systems and reservation or POS software; willingness to learn new tools.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
- Relevant education or training in hospitality, administration, or a related field is beneficial.
