Role Description The Operations Specialist – Hotel Reservations is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo. The position is responsible for managing hotel bookings from initial request through confirmation, modification, and cancellation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company procedures. Daily tasks include processing reservation requests, updating booking systems, coordinating with hotels and suppliers, and resolving issues related to availability, pricing, and guest requirements. The role also involves communicating with customers and internal teams, monitoring reservation queues, and preparing basic reports on booking status and operational performance. The Operations Specialist contributes to process improvements and supports the sales team by providing timely and reliable reservation information.
Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to review booking data, identify discrepancies, and support process improvement.
  • Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to interact effectively with customers, hotels, and internal teams.
  • Candidates should possess Sales-related skills to support upselling opportunities and maintain positive customer relationships.
  • Candidates should possess Operations Management skills to handle daily reservation workflows and ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Candidates should possess Project Management skills to coordinate small operational initiatives and implement procedural changes.
  • Relevant experience in travel, hospitality, or reservations operations is highly beneficial.
  • Proficiency with reservation systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel) is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are required.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and spoken, is an advantage.
  • A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Tourism, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.
